I was browsing over your older posts and read the one on surveillance cameras in the Amish community of Lancaster county. You mention that this is a low crime area with only 3 murders in a population of 54,000 people. That would make it a higher murder rate than Winnipeg which is one of the higher murder rates in Canada. Perhaps their murder rate is low relative to other American centres.
You are right Sel. The rate is comparable and even slightly higher than Winnipeg. I was referenceing relative rates in other American cities that have higher rates than Lancaster but relatively fewer CCTV cameras. Thanks for pointing that out.
